On Friday the local mall had a 13" Ivory Chop plate for $14.00 less 10%. It is still there just don't need one for the collection and there is not enough profit room. Might go back and pick it for kicks.
Thanks

Gypsy Caravan St Louis
Today Jane and I made the 2 hour drive to the big city to the Gypsy Caravan. We didn't see much fiesta between the rain drops. Perhaps the best deal but we left it was a damaged piece. An ivory coffee pot with lid. The lid had two small nicks and larger chip on the lid rim. The base had a nick. The price was $15.00 and the lady probably would have taken less as the rain seemed to hurt everyone's sales. We saw other items but nothing to write home about. We did buy some Metlox Poppy trail Series 200 items. An ice lip pitcher with 8 matching tumblers. This set I picked up for $60.00. I think it was a good deal.

Memorial Day
Jane and I plan on being in St Louis for the Gypsy Caravan flea market. We are going to make a weekend of it. In years past the pickings have been little for fiesta. One time we did find a gray demi cup. So stay tuned if we find or see anything we will post pictures.

Auction Fiesta
We headed to an auction last week and there was some okay Fiesta. The relish trays sold for $170.00 and $140.00. The demi cups and saucers were $45.00 each and you had to take all 6 of them. The only item we wound up with was the ivory casserole lid. It is in great condition for the grand price of $25.00. Keep checking back to see what our travels find.

The Hunt continues!!!
On our trip back from seeing our daughter and son-inlaw we stopped in Williamsville, Il and took some pictures of fiesta that has been in this booth since our daughter was 16. She is now 25. The 8" vase is priced at $775.00 and the onion soup is $725.00. I wonder how much longer this stuff will sit there. I once had the mall call the owner to see what they would take for the vase. I don't remember but it must have been too high as it is still sitting there.
